The Day of Chemicals in the House of Industry interrupted by Greenpeace
Saturday 2 December the daily Politiken had a discussion article by director Ole Grøndahl Hansen, PVC Information Council Denmark. Ole Grøndahl Hansen is criticising Greenpeace, because the organisation ventured to interrupt the Environment Minister’s speech by an action during the “Day of Chemicals” 27 November in the House of Industry. Radio Denmark is also being criticised, since the News of Radio Denmark is legitimising such actions by broadcasting the action as a piece of news uncritically. The point of the article is that even though Greenpeace has a very easy access to expose its viewpoints in the Danish media, the organisation - all the same - feels justified to interrupt public conferences with actions. The article can be read here.
